Most thought provoking book…
Yet another one I’m stumped on.
What constitutes a thought provoking book?
Is it one with a moral lesson to be learned?
Is it a book that made you think philosophically or is it a book that you felt spoke to you and your circumstances?
Due to the fact that I don’t read many non-crime books, today’s post is all the more difficult.
I’ve read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, both of which feature on many ‘Thought Provoking Books’ lists so they’ll have to do 🙂
Both of these are wonderful books, with very different lessons to be learned, and I enjoyed them both immensely. It’s been a while since I’ve read them but they are both worthwhile reads.
What would your choice be for most thought provoking book?
I’m going to say Ender’s Game simply because it made me think. I guess this comes under the philosophical category no easy answers meant I was left questioning/pondering after I read it. One of the best endings I’ve ever read.
I’ve never read that! Worth a read??
Aboslutley. Had me hooked. One of the best books I’ve read.
Who is it by? I must check it out!
Orson Scott Card. It’s sci-fi. The first sci-fi book I ever read, recommended by a sci-fi nerd.
Thank you! Not my usual genre but it got mentioned in lots of the lists I looked at when trying to pick a book for this post!
No worries. Not my usual genre either, but this one blew me away.
That’s good to know! 🙂
