I’m going to have to be more organised with my weekly wrap up posts! It’s later and later I’m writing them lately!!! π
Anyway, I finished 4 books this week so I’m now up to 52 books read so far this year. Which is good going considering I have nearly 100 books on myΒ urgent TBR, and maybe 15-20 of those fall into theΒ read these ones ASAP as they are for various requests, and of course some Netgalley ones have snuck in there too!
The books I finished this week are as follows:
- In The Shadows by Tara Lyons
I snuck Tara’s book into last weeks wrap-up too as I was less than 20% until the end when I was typing the post up! π This time however, I have no review as I’m on the blog tour for this book next week so make sure to check back in for my review!
- The Boat House by Mark Sennen
I read the first three of Mark Sennen’s DI Charlotte Savage books way back before I started my blog, and he has a new book, Two Evils out soon so I needed a refresher and this was a perfect short story.
- Demon Dentist by David Walliams
Myself and my son had been reading this at night for a couple of weeks and we finished it this week. I hadn’t read any of David Walliams’ kids books, so this was an unusual departure for me. However, this book was the only book I read during my reading slump so I have to thank my son Thomas for that! π
- Death In Profile by Guy Fraser-Sampson
I finished Death In Profile earlier today, and you can catch my review for it by clicking the link —>Β Death In Profile by Guy Fraser-Sampson.
So, there you have it. Not a huge amount read but I’m still reading so that’s a good thing! π
What have you been reading?
I’m so glad to see your mojo is back at work!!! My wish list just got bigger!!! Can’t wait to see what you thought of In The Shadows!
This week I’ve read the final part of the CXVI trilogy by Angie Smith and today I finished off Bloq by Alan Jones! Currently trying to decide what to start next….
Great review by the way Claire! I’m going to start Beneath The Surface by Heidi Perks next! Sarah said its good and I have to read and review by Thursday! X

Might start looking at the David Walliams books for Isaac…. x
Ooh yes! I’ll be reading that review! π what age is Isaac? I think at 6 Tom is a bit young for the subject matter π
I know David Walliams books are for kids but i really fancy reading them x
We’re onto Ratburger now! π I couldn’t write a spoiler free review for Demon Dentist as there’s a lot I have to say about it but couldn’t! π x
Isaacs 5, had a look on Amazon and there are some that are more for his age like the slightly annoying elephant so might get one of them to start with X
I should have done that! ππ x
I’m reading Girl in 6E and Unmumsy Mum, I’m looking forward to in the shadows
Are they good? In The Shadows was a great read!
Love that you say “Not a lot read” with four books down for the week! Keep it up. π
Haha! I know π thanks!
Awesome that I’ve made two weekly round ups… Still on the edge of my seat for the review π #BlogTourSecrecy
Kat, I hope you enjoy it when you get round to reading it π
I’ve almost finished The Reaper by Steven Dunne and then I’ll be moving on to The Prodigal by Nicky Black (started it on Saturday).
Not long to wait now Tara π great choices! I have them both on my TBR! Surprise surprise!
You seem to be getting your reading mojo back Kate. Glad you are getting better.
