Weekly Wrap Up April 17th 2016

Hi all,

Another relatively short weekly wrap up this week! πŸ™ˆ

I managed to read 2 books, and I’ve another two on the go so I have been reading, it’s just been slow going I think!

The first book I finished this week was:

Distress Signals by Catherine Ryan Howard

This book was a really great read! I gave it 5⭐️ on Goodreads, but my review won’t be going live until May 5th so make sure to keep an eye out for that!

The second book I finished this week was:

The Plea by Steve Cavanagh

Now, to say I enjoyed this would be an understatement! I loved it!!!! 😍 It was another superb Eddie Flynn novel, and I cannot recommend Steve Cavanagh’s books highly enough! I’ve posted my review of The Plea tonight too but I’ll pop the link below too! 5⭐️ read and all the love for this book!

As well as reading two great books, I also blogged about my new blog feature that starts next month, “I’m a sucker for a Series”.

Basically it’s a way for authors to discuss their own series, and mention a series they’ve read and enjoyed as well as book bloggers taking part and discussing some of their favourite series! You can have a read of that post by clicking on the link below:

So that’s basically all my bookish news that I can think of! 😏

What have you all been reading this week?! πŸ˜ŠπŸ“–

  1. Only 2?!?!? Your standards are slipping!!! Can just picture you reading to your little angel to get the book read!
I’ve read Olly Jarvis’ Death By Dangerous, finished the fabulous Silent Twin from Caroline Mitchell and now I’m on with Tom Bale’s See How They Run #firstblogtour #noelleslosttheplot πŸ˜‚

  2. I’m really looking forward to Distress Signals-its sounds right up my street! I’ve not read anything today yet!!!! And been so busy may actually go straight to sleeper when I get to bed for a change! Looking forward to hearing what you read next week πŸ™‚

  3. I’m going to finish Most wanted by Lisa Scottoline, then move on to The missing hours by Emma Kavanagh. Also continue with black eyed Susan’s.
