So I’m back to normal this week as I missed out on the WWU post last weekend! No stomach bug anymore so I’ve managed to read a good bit, write reviews and take part in a blog tour too so it’s been a busy week! 😊
Since I last posted a wrap up, I’ve read seven books and I’m on my 8th as I type this (it’s Friday, but I’m away this weekend so I’m trying to keep on top of posts 😂) which brings my Goodreads challenge books read total to 70 books so far this year I believe! 😊📚
The books I’ve read are:
The Hanging Club by Tony Parsons
You can read my review by clicking the link below!
Fresh Blood by Tony Parsons
I don’t have a review for Fresh Blood as its a digital short, but here’s what I wrote on Amazon:
“Really wish I read this before reading The Hanging Club ARC! There’s so much info in here that I could have known before reading it! However, this is still a great short story. Tony Parsons has a lovely way of writing, and even in these little stories, his ability to weave a tale is evident!”
Sunset City by Melissa Ginsburg
I was on the blog tour for Sunset City this week and you can read my review for it here: Sunset City by Melissa Ginsburg Blog Tour
The Passenger by Lisa Lutz
I read The Passenger last week and this week and you can find my review by clicking here: The Passenger by Lisa Lutz
City of Shadows by MJ Lee
I’m on the blog tour for this on May 12th so you’ll have to wait until then for my review but I really enjoyed this book! 😊
Give It Back by Danielle Esplin
Another one I read and reviewed this week, you can catch up with my review by clicking the link: Give It Back by Danielle Esplin
Last but by no means least,
Make Me by Lee Child
Another triumph for Jack Reacher fans, I read this in 24 hours and loved it! You can read my review for Make Me by clicking the link below:
So, there you have it! Lots read, and so many more great books to come! Speaking of, I’ve started reading The Reaper by Steven Dunne and I’m loving it so far and I’m sure I’ll get my review up in the coming week! I have lots of exciting books and blog tours coming up in May too so it sould be a busy month!
Also, seeing as how it’s a bank holiday, I’m going to take my time doing up my April book haul. I have NO IDEA how may books have come to Chez Bibliophile so I’ll have to check it out tomorrow!!
Hope you have all had a nice and relaxing weekend!
Until next week… Happy reading 🙂
