This week has been a bit of a slow week reading-wise in that I’ve only managed to read 2 books which brings my total books read so far this year to 72 books out of my challenge of 75 books on goodreads!
That being said, I’ve had a few posts and blog tours on my blog during the week ๐
First up, my April book haul! Thankfully it was markedly lower than previous months, but still had plenty of cracking books on it! Click on the link below to have a look at what books came to Bibliophile HQ last month!
Next up was a guest post from Catherine Ryan Howard on her Top 5 Thrillers, and my review of her book Distress Signals went up too! You can read that post by clicking this link: Distress Signals by Catherine Ryan Howard
I FINALLY got to post my review for See How They Run by the lovely Tom Bale this weekend too as part of the blog tour! I’ve been itching to post it since I read it but I had to keep it to myself! ๐ You can read it by clicking the link below!
I’ve also read The Evolution of Fear by Paul E. Hardisty, which was superb! My review won’t be posted until May 16th as part of the blog tour, but sufficed to say, it’s absolutely brilliant!!
Last, but by no means least, I posted my review for Steven Dunne’s The Reaper earlier today, a great start to a series! You can read my review by clicking the link below:
So, that’s pretty much all my bookish news for this week! Feel free to share any of your wrap up links in the comments, or any books you’ve read! ๐
I’m currently reading Distress Signals and loving it.
It’s brilliant!!! Absolutely gripping stuff!!!
Four books? Slow week?!?
I’ve read play dead for CBJ and that’s it really!!
Only read two lovely, was sitting on the other reviews until pub day and blog tours! ๐ x
Two is still pretty good!! x
It’s not bad at all, I have lots to get on with reading now though! ๐ x
Just finished in too deep by samatha Hayes, unsure what to start next. think a happy one.
Might be no harm after a book like that!
Steven Dunne is everywhere has been everywhere last week. I need to get The Reaper!
He has! His latest book was published last week ๐
I resisted the urge to buy it right away, I will try to start the series from the start ๐
๐ I try to do that where possible!
I really want to start reading Distress Signals right now, it sounds so good! I think it might have to be the one I start next. ๐
It’s brilliant Hayley! Completely sucks you in x
