This wrap up will probably be short and sweet! π
I’ve managed to read 5 books (and possibly a 6th if I finish it) this week! Which I’m thrilled with considering it means I’ve reached and passed my Goodreads challenge of 75 books and I’m on to my 79th book of the year so far! Woohoo πππ
I’ve read the following this week:
- My Girl by Jack Jordan
- Where Roses Never Die by Gunnar Staalesen
- Last Light by CJ Lyons
- My Husband’s Wife by Jane Corry
- False Hearts by Laura Lam
Now, I had planned on sitting down this afternoon and writing all my reviews that I’m behind on (I have six to write) and wouldn’t you know it, my laptop decided to be an idiot and not work, and also my youngest woke up from her sleep an hour early so I had to put everything away!
In saying that, I’m on the blog tour for the first two books so no reviews until June for them π
I will get around to writing the reviews for the others ASAP, but alas for this evening, I have no reviews to link to! π I will say that they were great reads in their own way though, and all 3 got 4βοΈ ratings on Goodreads!
In other news, I took part in 3 blog tours this week, for Jack Jordan, Sam Blake and Paul Hardisty and you can click on the relevant links below for each post! π
Anything For Her by Jack Jordan
Little Bones by Sam Blake
The Evolution Of Fear by Paul Hardisty
Also this week, I received my first Illumicrate subscription blog which was full of lovely bookish bits as well as a YA new release! Yet again, I’ve had technical issues so I haven’t been able to do my unboxing post for that either! It’s not been my week has it! π I will however give you a sneak peek though…
So that pretty much sums up my week, lots of techie issues but plenty of reading done! Can’t win ’em all I guess π
Hope you’ve all had a lovely week! β€οΈπ
Congrats on reaching your Goodreads goal π 79 is an impressive number!
Have a great week
Thanks Donna! You too π
Cannot believe the reading you’ve done. we’re not even halfway through the year hun! I’m a bit of a fan of CJ Carver after doing a blog tour. I love your mug – and can I ask, what is your nail colour as it’s gorgeous and I want one! Did you get them done or do it yourself while reading? That’s my usual trick, though I have had a few accidents…
I know, I’ve been a busy reader π and no signs of it slowing down! I love the mug too, it’s perfect for the blog! My nails are gel (they’re off at the moment until I get them done again at the weekend!) so I have no idea of the colour, although Models Own have a very similar nude colour and mistakes don’t show up as its so natural! I couldn’t paint and read at the same time π
Can’t believe you’ve read that much and we’re not even halfway through the year! Love your nail colour – can I ask what it is? I used to do my nails while reading. Ended in a few disasters though! Great mug too! I’m a bit of a CJ Carver fan after doing a blog tour.
