Hi everyone,
It’s Weekly Wrap Up time! This week was another busy week for me on here, I had 7 posts this week! First up, I finally got around to reading and reviewing The Truth About Julia. I was slightly underwhelmed to be honest and you can read why here:
The Truth About Julia by Anna Schaffner
Next up, I FINALLY got to post my review for All Fall Down by the lovely Tom Bale. All the stars for this actin-packed read:
I reviewed Find Me by J. S. Monroe this week too. I was expecting great things, but this fell a little flat. Click the link below to see why:
I was delighted to take part in a cover reveal for Orenda Books latest author, Thomas Enger. Cursed looks like a great book. Click the link to see why:

I also got around to reading and reviewing a book that’s been on my TBR for quite some time, The Damaged by Simon Law. Another one that just didn’t quite hit the mark for me this week:
I was lucky enough to be joined by Steven Dunne yesterday for my series feature, and he has a great post so click the link to catch up!

Lastly this week, I finally cobbled together some thoughts on The Constant Soldier by William Ryan. I still don’t think my review did it the justice it deserves though. It is a truly stunning novel. Catch up below:

So that’s been my blogging week! I’ve been couch-bound here all week as I managed to put my back out. I’ve had herniated discs in the past and this week was just torture as I physically couldn’t do anything for myself. My wonderful husband has had to take the week off to take care of me as well as the kids for which I’m very grateful.
Due to the fact that I was immobile, my kindle became my best friend. As of now, Sunday evening, I’m currently reading my 7th book of the week π±π As you’d expect though, I’m behind on my reviews as I’ve not been able to sit with the laptop. So next week, I should have some more reviews for these going up!
The books I read this week were:
- The Damaged (reviewed above)
- Black List by Will Jordan
- Nothing Short of Dying by Erik Storey
- Inside The Whispers by AJ Waines (review in October)
- Soul Rights by Liberty Gilmore
- A forthcoming novella by a certain Adam Hamdy (more on that later)
Theoretically there will be reviews for 4 of these at some stage next week, I hope! I also have a cover reveal next Wednesday AND I also have some super exciting news coming up be to week which I’m dying to share, but I won’t… YET! π
That’s been my week! How was yours?! π
So sorry to hear about your back – speedy recovery
Thanks Cleo!
Get well soon, Kate. X
Thanks lovely x
