Series Spotlight
I have never written a series of books before, but when I finished The Chic Boutique on Baker Street, I realised that I loved Westfield, and the characters and location had so much more to say.
The Chic Boutique is the book I wrote last year after winning the Prima and Mills & Boon Flirty Fiction Competition. The book has been out since late April this year and has been getting great reviews, which I am thrilled about. I am working on a different book at present, due to be completed by the end of the year, and then I have two more in the Westfield series planned, featuring new characters and locations, and perhaps a couple of established ones will pop up too!
I love reading, and picking a series of books was very hard, but I still say that The Hunger Games trilogy is a good series. I just love the characters, and the storyline, and I always reread them every year.
My favourite series however are the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris. You may know that this series was adapted for TV in the form of True Blood. I love the TV series too, but the books, as always, are better and there are plenty to go at too! They are very unique, and I love her easy style of writing. I still have book 1 in her latest series on my bookcase to read, but I dare not in case I get obsessed as my TBR pile is already so huge!
Huge thanks to Rachel for joining me on the blog today! 🙂
