Ellen’s Review:

Turn to Dust is book nine in the Kay Hunter…book nine!! How did that happen!? I have enjoyed every single book in this series and always shout about them given the opportunity. Kay Hunter is one of my favourite detectives and I’ve loved following her journey.

The body of a naked man is found in a farmer’s field but his injuries are so horrific and inconsistent with his location that Kay and her team are thrown for a loop. One of his only identifying features is a military style tattoo and going down this line of investigation leads to dark discoveries about the murdered mans past.

When a young woman comes forward claiming to know the victim things take a turn for the even darker and a man is soon in town offering money for information on the dead man and anyone connected to him. Kay is in a race against time to protect the witness and discover the truth behind the lies.

You could easily read this book as a standalone but I always recommend reading the full series.

Kay and her team are fantastic and it looks like there’s change on its way for them all…bring on book ten!
