He’s determined to do whatever it takes to climb the ranks to Controller General – until he realises the Industry’s control methods have become harsher than ever. The Barricades make sure nothing from the Deadlands can get in to the Community – and no one can get out. As Alice becomes entangled in the Industry’s plan for the future, and Carter delves into the secrets of his past, they must make sacrifices which threaten to tear them apart. And both of them are forced to confront an impossible question…

~Cover Reveal~ Seven Seconds by Lisa Compton

Hi all,

Today I’m sharing the cover for Seven Seconds by Lisa Compton, the second book to be published by Perpetuity Publising. First though, here’s the bookish information!

About the author:

LC.png

Lisa Compton knew she wanted to be a writer in the fourth grade when her teacher read one of her stories to the class. Lisa has spent more than two decades in healthcare. Away from the hospital, she spends most of her time writing about things that keep her up at night in the company of at least one cat. She lives in her adopted home of San Antonio, Texas with two of her three children.

About the book:

Seven Seconds by Lisa Compton marks the debut of a thrilling paranormal crime series.

Olivia Osborne, a forensic psychologist and former FBI agent, is blessed (or cursed depending on who you ask) with unique gifts. Olivia is able to sense what others cannot–the spiritual presence of those who have “crossed over,” as well as the living who are influenced, or some cases possessed, by evil. The passing of her beloved Gran was the catalyst Olivia Osborn needed to leave the FBI behind and return to her native San Antonio. But a familiar evil has followed her home.

When a series of brutal murders rock her hometown of San Antonio, Texas, Olivia is pulled into the investigation despite her plans to leave that part of her life behind. What if she isn’t supposed to run? What if she was always supposed to stand and fight?

Seven Seconds will launch in December 2017 through all major retailers in eBook, paperback, and hard cover formats.

Are you guys ready to see the cover???

And here’s some need-to-know info about Hydra….

One cold November night in 2014, in a small town in the north west
of England, 26-year-old Arla Macleod bludgeoned her mother,
father and younger sister to death with a hammer, in an unprovoked
attack known as the ‘Macleod Massacre’. Now incarcerated at a
medium-security mental-health institution, Arla will speak to no one
but Scott King, an investigative journalist, whose ‘Six Stories’
podcasts have become an internet sensation.
King finds himself immersed in an increasingly complex case,
interviewing five witnesses and Arla herself, as he questions whether
Arla’s responsibility for the massacre was a diminished as her legal
team made out. As he unpicks the stories, he finds himself thrust
into a world of deadly forbidden ‘games’, online trolls, and the
mysterious Black-eyed Children, whose presence extends far
beyond the delusions of a murderess…
Dark, chilling and gripping, Hydra is both a classic murder mystery
and an up-to-the-minute, startling thriller, that shines light in places
you may never, ever want to see again.

Doesn’t that sound AMAZING? I genuinely cannot wait for Hydra. It sounds like such a creepy book, so I’ll be reading it with the lights on for sure!

From award-winning author Pamela Crane comes a terrifying tale of small-town secrets and murder.
Ari Wilburn’s life ended long ago—the day she let her little sister die in a tragic accident. Crippled with self-blame and resented by her parents, Ari stumbles through life…and into an unlikely clue that casts doubt on whether the death was accidental.

Will Ari find closure and stop a killer, or make those she loves suffer?

About the author:

_MG_4461

Pamela Crane is a professional juggler. Not the type of juggler who can toss flaming torches in the air, but a juggler of four kids, a writing addiction, a horse rescuer, and a book editor by trade. She lives on the edge (ask her Arabian horse about that—he’ll tell you all about their wild adventures while trying to train him!) and she writes on the edge. Her characters and plots are her escape from the real world of dirty diapers and cleaning horse stalls, and the masochist in her thrives off of hurting her characters to create an entertaining tale.
