Hi everyone,

Super quick wrap up post this week! I’m still reading but not very much so there’s only one non blog tour review on here! Here’s a list of what’s been on the blog this week in chronological order:

Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend!

Weekly Wrap Up November 20th

Hi everyone,

Short and sweet this week! If you’ve seen me on social media, you’ll know I’m seriously struggling with my reading so I wrote a post about it:

Reader’s Block…

I also got to post two reviews as part of blog tours for Bookouture too:

*Blog Tour* Love You To Death by Caroline Mitchell

*Blog Tour* While You Were Sleeping by Kathryn Croft

I also got to be on the Two Crime Writers and a Microphone podcast with Steve Cavanagh and Luca Veste giving a couple of recommendations! You can find the podcast on the iTunes Store! 😊

Next week on the blog, I’m on the blog tour for Matt Brolly’s Zero, another blog tour for Adam Lebor and the Finnish Invasion tour stops with me on Sunday with my review for Antti Tuomainen’s The Mine!

If you’re on Facebook, you can find me on THE book club posting my All Time Favourite Mystery Thrillers from Monday to Thursday! I’ll put them all in a post on my blog afterwards too! 😊

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Weekly Wrap Up October 2nd

Hi everyone,

It’s Sunday, which means it’s wrap up day. Now this will be a double one as I was away last week! More on that later though 😊

Bex over at Ninja Book Swap asked me to do a blog post helping to spread the word:

The Ninja Book Swap

I reviewed Erik Storey’s action thriller that had been on my TBR for aaaaages:

Nothing Short of Dying by Erik Storey

I was lucky enough to run a giveaway for a signed proof of Pendulum by Adam Hamdy which I loved:

Run by Adam Hamdy & SIGNED Pendulum Giveaway

I also hosted a stop for Andy Blackman for his new book:

*Blog Tour* For The Love of Grace by Andy Blackman

Another TBR book checked off the list when I started The Enemy series:

Dance With The Enemy by Rob Sinclair

This week opened with a blog tour, and something a little different in that I had to write a post about blogging:

*Blog Tour* The Million Dollar Blog by Natasha Courtenay Smith

I finally got to share my review for the stunning novel, The Bird Tribunal:

The Bird Tribunal by Agnes Ravatn

My lovely guest reviewer, Ellen, had her first blog tour on Wednesday:

*Blog Tour* The Mountain In My Shoe by Louise Beech

And today I had the pleasure of taking part in the blog tour for Michael Malone’s new book, A Suitable Lie:

*Blog Tour* A Suitable Lie by Michael J. Malone

That’s been the past two weeks in blogging. I’m finding it really hard to read lately, or at least hard to concentrate! This is really slowing my reading down, and my reviews all tend to be for blog tours so it feels like I’m actually not posting half enough! 🙈

I’m going to try and rectify that soon though! I’m well above my goodreads target now, I think I was at 129/75 at last look so I’m happy enough with it! 😊

And now onto London… I’m still deciding whether or not to do a separate post but for now I won’t! All I will say is that I had THE BEST TIME!!!! 😁

I got to spend QT with my husband, see the sights and go to the launch of Ragnar Jónasson’s Blackout in Goldsboro Books. Which was AMAZING!!! 😍 I think I’ll have to do a different post! 😏

Isn’t he lovely?!  😂❤️

How was your week?

Weekly Wrap Up July 3rd

Hey everyone,

After no wrap up post last week, I’m making up for it this week with ELEVEN blog posts for you to catch up on this week! 😂

Firstly, I was on two blog tours Monday and Wednesday for The Caller and Valentina respectively!

Blog tours:

The Caller by Mel Comley and Tara Lyons *Blog Tour*

Valentina BY S. E. Lynes *Blog Tour*

I was kindly nominated by fellow bloggers Joanne and Kerry for the Liebster Awards, which were fun posts as you have to answer questions, give random facts about yourself (😱) and list some questions for others to answer. I love stuff like this because you get to learn more about people! 😊

Liebster Awards posts:

The Liebster Award #1

The Liebster Award #2

I’m pretty much all caught up with reviews too, bar The Road by Cormac McCarthy which I finished today! Some of these reviews were for books I read in recent weeks and only just got to write up. And then there’s Blackout 😊❤️ I bought, read and reviewed it in the space of 24 hours because I was so eager! I’m a Ragnar Jónasson superfan so it had to be done! 😂 You can catch all my recent reviews by clicking the links below!

Books reviewed this week:

As White As Snow by Salla Simukka

As Black As Ebony by Salla Simukka

Tag, You’re Dead by J. C. Lane

Dodgers by Bill Beverly

The Silent Dead by Tetsuya Honda

Blackout by Ragnar Jónasson

Lastly, I was very restrained with my book purchasing and ARC’s in June, so I had a relatively small book haul in comparison to recent months. I only got 40 books, which is a smudge under half of what I got in May! 😂🙈

Monthly book haul post:

That’s been my week, how was yours?  Tell me all the books you’ve read or added to your TBR! 😊📚

Weekly Wrap Up June 19th

Hi everyone! 😊

So it’s been quite a busy week here at Bibliophile Book Club,  between reviews and blog tours etc I’ve blogged an unheard of TWELVE times this week!!! 😱 That never happens!!!

I’ve managed to read 5 books this week, bringing my total up to 92 books read so far this year, and unlike lately, I actually have ALL FIVE reviewed on time 😂

The books I’ve read and reviewed this week are as follows, and just click the title to go to the review;

My Sister’s Grave by Robert Dugoni

Missing Presumed by Susie Steiner

River Road by Carol Goodman

Dear Amy by Helen Callaghan

New Dusk by Liberty Gilmore

As Red As Blood by Salla Simukka

Also this week, I managed to post some reviews for books that were published this week and they were:

Streets of Darkness by A. A. Dhand

False Hearts by Laura Lam

I also had some Blogival posts, my Sucker For A Series post and a blog tour so click on the relevant links below to have a look! 😊

Devil’s Demise by Lee Cockburn *Extract* Blogival

Hunt For The Enemy by Rob Sinclair *Extract* Blogival

Sucker For A Series #2 Tracey Sinclair

Where Roses Never Die by Gunnar Staalesen *Blog Tour*

See, told you it’s been busy! 😊 Next week will be a bit quieter though! I have a guest post from the lovely Rebecca Bradley coming up tomorrow, and there will be some reviews too but definitely not as hectic as this week!

What have you all been up to? Read anything good?? 📚

Weekly Wrap Up May 15th

Hi all!

Super short wrap up this week! I only managed to read ONE book!!! 🙈 I’ve had a very busy week though so it was to be expected!

I read Deadly Harvest by Michael Stanley and thoroughly enjoyed it! I’m on the blog tour for this so you’ll have to wait for my review until June 2nd but I gave it 4⭐️ on Goodreads and would definitely recommend it! 😊

I got to take part in a blog tour for MJ Lee’s City of Shadows this week too, and you can catch my review HERE.

There was a Q&A with David Jackson, author of A Tapping at my Door on Friday, along with the first Sucker For A Series post! You can read those posts by clicking on the relevant links below:

I also took part in the My A-Z of Books tag which was fun! You can read that post here 👉🏼 My A-Z of Books
Lastly I turned 30 on Friday the 13th, and I had asked my husband for 30 books! (What else would a bookworm ask for?! 😂) I was lucky enough to get 30+, and they will all feature in the May Book Haul post in early June. Here’s a sneak peek though:

There’s way too many to put in here! 😂

So that’s basically been my bookish week! I’ve started reading My Girl by Jack Jordan in prep for the blog tour in June too! So busy busy 😊📖

Thanks for reading! 📚
