June Book Haul

Hi guys,

So, it’s time for my monthly book haul post, and I’ve been very good this month. I’ve tried to avoid book-buying, but let’s face it, I have an addiction to feed.

For any of you who don’t know, this is where I list the books that have made Bibliophile Book Club their new home in the previous month. The books are usually bought books, ARC’s sent from publishers, Netgalley review books and just basically any books I get go on here.

So, here we go…

  1. The Fact of A Body by Alexandria Marzano Lesnevich

I’m feeling better about these hauls lately to be honest. I’m not buying as much, and I’m also trying to make a dent in my TBR. I managed to read 20 books in May AND 20 in June so at least I’m reading. Just not all of the books that are in my hauls! Oh well! 🙂

There you have it. Have you read any of these? Any you would reommend bumping up the TBR?? Do let me know in the comments! Until next month… 🙂

February Book Haul

Hi hi!

So I’m late posting up my book haul from February. There are a couple of reasons for this, namely I was away at the end of February and also the blog has been pretty busy and will continue like that this month. Hence I’m sneaking this post in 🙂

This post is basically any and all books that I’ve gotten during the previous month. This list includes books I’ve bought (Oh hi Amazon and Book Depository!), books I’ve been sent to read and review, books from publishers and so on.

I think that this has been my lowest book haul post to date, I’ve not checked, but it seems very small in comparison to last year. The reason for that is that I’ve been trying not to buy books. I KNOW!!!!!! But, I have totally cut down so there’s that!

Anyways, here are the books from my February book haul:

  1. A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
  2. High Force by L. J. Ross
  3. Desperation Road by Michael Farris Smith
  4. Relics by Tim Lebbon
  5. The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo
  6. The Stolen Child by Sanjida Kay
  7. The Fourth Monkey by J. D. Barker
  8. Larchfield by Polly Clarke
  9. Six Stories by Matt Wesolowski
  10. Our Little Secret by Claudia Carroll
  11. The Caller by Chris Carter
  12. Blue Light Yokohama by Nicolás Obregón
  13. The Cutaway by Christina Kovac
  14. Deadly Game by Matt Johnson
  15. The Liar by Steve Cavanagh
  16. Every Three Hours by Chris Mooney
  17. Fear The Dark by Chris Mooney
  18. The Soul Collector by Chris Mooney
  19. The Dead Room by Chris Mooney
  20. The Secret Friend by Chris Mooney
  21. Only The Truth by Adam Croft
  22. The Breakdown by BA Paris
  23. The Damselfly by SJI Holliday
  24. Scare Me by Richard Parker
  25. Salvation Road by Mark Dawson
  26. Talking to the Dead by Harry Bingham
  27. Dark Water by Robert Bryndza
  28. Someone is Watching by Joy Fielding

So, 28… that is so much less than before. But I guess that’s a good sign of my restraint from book-buying, right? RIGHT????? 🙂

Until next time, I’ll leave you with a few photos of what I got. Also, if you’re on Instagram (Yes, I did screenshots of my own feed to see the books!), you can see my username there if you want to search and follow!
